Pennsylvania Speeders

from Name your topic

How about a topic
"If you have Pennsylvania Tags you are probably speeding!"

The odd of this being true better than anything in Vegas or AC .

COULD NOT AGREE MORE..
D0SE PENN TAGS SPEED THROUGH HERE, WITHOUT A CARE OF ANYTHING WRONG

TOO BAD WE CANNOT COLLECT PART OF THE FINES IF THEY ARE CAUGHT

MOST OF OUR MONETARY PROBLEMS WOULD BE OVER

Never really noticed the Tags.
but will look harder next time

Where is Barney when you need him?
Not the town Cops fault..
It is that we need more money to employ officers for 24 hour service

Do we need 24 hr service?
Weekends?
Early morning and rush hours maybe

Maybe some fake cameras.. would slow things down.

The guy that holds up the rail use to suggest that just pointing a hair dryer at them would cause brakes to lock up - Wonder if that is legal?

We could have Vigilante Hair dryer patrol?

Let's just stop and "fine" all of those PA cars and motorcycles without giving them a warning. That will certainly ensure that they will make a beeline to other waterfront communities and bypass Port Deposit altogether. That's OK for the isolationist but the resturants will certainly dry up without the tourist trade. Just remember, less businesses, higher residential property taxes. All in favour, say "I".

Can agree with that it may hurt the restaurants.

but what if one child is caught by a speeding vehicle?
Those saying "I" with you might not.
Stop signs at center street pedestrian crosswalks(laws enforced), street dividers (like Belair Md and New Hope,Pa ,Cape May NJ) would train faster traffic to move just a bit slower.

Too a comment on another section of this blog (from you? -about that same timestamp that the referenced comment was entered) talks about a weak mayor government and the need for a good strong Administrator - which we have not had in 15 years at least.

A good Business attutude from the front desk is needed -- it isn't there.
Why? One can only assume that guidance is needed as to what Port Deposit wants to be.
I do not blame the current Admin
she trys but is not bussiness minded -- not everyone is.

Actually more businesses would slow down traffic giving those that use Main Street as US 222
a reason to "Eat and stay a spell"
isn't that Tugs motto? or something like that.

I agree with the person talking about protecting children.
The restaurants will survive.

I was parked on the side of the road legally and almost had my door taken off by a speeding truck with boat
scary!
They do need a stop sign in the middle of town that would go far.
