I get a great sense of pride every time I see it. And more so when I see the number of people whom are using it.

In addition, the walkway that transcends the park is in full use too.
Wonderful, truly wonderful!
-JQPAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4797096855393927065.post-44132475657523552442007-04-06T11:28:00.000-05:002007-04-06T11:28:00.000-05:00I also heard the jetty was Dave Read's idea. Our nominee is not one lone individual, but more a concept or class of one individual. As perhaps you are aware Time Magazine has on occasion selected as its person of the year a class of individual. Examples are in 1950- American Fighting Man, 1966- 25 and under (years old no doubt) and in 1969- The Middle American. Following this reasoning, we propose similarly, to nominate for Port Deposit citizen of the month a class of individual found within our humble hamlet. We feel their qualifications for this high honor are too numerous for enumeration, however we will state several. Their frequent patronage of certain town business helps keep the wheel of commerce turning. They often involve themselves with our town’s constabulary. In the last, but by no means least, they help fill the ranks of our various elected and appointed town councils and committees.
For these reasons so stated it is our pleasure to nominate for Port Deposit citizen of the month April 2007: Drunks of Port Deposit.

For your consideration we humbly submit,

Amicus PublicusAmicus Publicusnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4797096855393927065.post-17730570383818369722007-04-04T17:34:00.000-05:002007-04-04T17:34:00.000-05:00I also like vote whomevers idea it was fro the Jet...I also like vote whomevers idea it was fro the Jetty.
I hear that it was David Read's?
If so, I vote him!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
